Effective date: August 15, 2026. This policy explains when CGHM Associates LLC ("Pickfetti", "we") will refund a payment for a Draw Pass or a Pro subscription. We keep it simple: if something went wrong on our side, you get your money back. If you changed your mind after we have already paid to fetch your comments, we generally cannot refund. Posts with 500 comments or fewer are always free, so most draws never involve a payment at all.

1. Why Draw Passes are usually non-refundable

To pick a winner, Pickfetti retrieves the public comments on your post through a third-party Instagram data provider. That provider charges us per comment, and the charge is incurred the moment fetching starts, whether or not you go on to use the result. Because of that real cost, a Draw Pass becomes non-refundable once comment fetching begins.

2. Draw Passes and Big Draw Passes

A Draw Pass (US$4.99, up to 10,000 comments) or Big Draw Pass (US$14.99, up to 100,000 comments) is a one-off purchase for a single draw.

We will refund in full if:

The draw failed because of us — a technical failure on our side meant your draw could not be completed, and we could not fix it by re-running it for you.
You were charged twice for the same draw.
The draw never started — you paid, but comment fetching never began (for example, you closed the page and never came back). Unused passes can be refunded on request.

We do not refund when:

you pasted the wrong link, or the wrong post;
you changed your mind after fetching began, or no longer need the draw;
the post turned out to be private, was deleted, or had comments turned off, so fewer comments (or none) could be fetched;
the result was "no eligible entrants" — your rules filtered everyone out. You can edit your rules and re-run the draw at no extra cost using the comments already fetched;
the number of comments fetched was lower than the pass limit — a pass covers "up to" the stated number of comments, not a fixed quantity;
you don't like the winners that were drawn. Draws are random by design; you may re-run the draw, but the outcome is not something we can change or refund.

If a fetch captured clearly fewer comments than the post actually has because of an error on our side, contact us; we will investigate and, if we agree, re-run the draw or refund.

3. Pro subscriptions

Pro (US$9 per month or US$79 per year) renews automatically until cancelled.

Cancel any time from your account via the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep Pro until then, and you will not be charged again.
No partial refunds for the unused remainder of a monthly or annual period once it has started.
Started by mistake? If you subscribed in error and have not used the subscription (no draws over the free limit run against your allowance), email us within 7 days of the charge and we will refund it in full.
Duplicate or erroneous charges caused by us are always refunded.

Refunds for a subscription do not extend to Draw Passes bought separately, and vice versa.

4. How to request a refund

Email hello@pickfetti.com from the address you paid with and include:

the draw code (the part of the proof-page link after /d/) for Draw Pass refunds, or the email on your account for subscription refunds;
the date and amount of the charge (or your Stripe receipt number);
a short description of what happened.

We usually reply within two business days. Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank; disputes take much longer to resolve than a direct refund, and accounts with unfounded chargebacks may be suspended.

5. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. It usually takes 5–10 business days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer. We cannot refund to a different card or account, or in cash.

6. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country or state, including any right to a refund for services not provided with reasonable care and skill. Where those laws give you more than this policy does, they apply. By starting a draw you ask us to begin performing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that any right to cancel within a cooling-off period ends once fetching starts, to the extent the law allows.
